Born Michael John Kells "Mick" Fleetwood in 1947, the British musician and drummer is the namesake of Fleetwood Mac, the famous blues/R&R band, inducted into the Hall of Fame in '98. The only constant member, he oversaw all the personnel incarnations throughout the band's life span.
Before Fleetwood Mac, he worked with The Cheynes, then Bo Street Runners, Peter Bs, Shotgun Express with Rod Stewart and John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers. He was fired from that band for alcohol abuse. Fifty albums have been released under the Fleetwood Mac name, the most popular being "Fleetwood Mac" and "Rumours," both mega-platinum."
