An English band formed in 2005 and fronted by Carl Barat of The Libertines, their first performances were in Italy and France while working with Vertigo Records. At one time, three bands performed under the same name, but the Salisbury and Australian bands altered their monikers. The debut album was entitled, "Waterloo to Anywhere," which reached #3 on the charts.
Touring the UK extensively in '06, the first American show was held at the SXSW in Texas. After performances at Ireland's Oxygen and the Isle of Wight, the '08 album "Romance At Short Notice" signaled the band's end. Their last show was at the Astoria 2 in London.
