Born in 1945, Deborah Ann "Debbie" Harry is an American singer/songwriter, best known as the lead singer for the band, "Blondie," to the point where followers believed that to be her name. She was also very successful as a solo artist. In the mid '90s, she worked with "The Jazz Passengers," but remained a punk icon with her two-toned hair.
The first two Blondie albums, "Eat to the Beat" and "Autoamerican" both went high on the charts. Blondie began work again after a fifteen year hiatus, in '97. Touring Europe, they sold out the Lyceum in London, released a second live album ("Live By Request") in '05 and toured UK again. They made festival appearances in 2010.
