The Dead Kennedys are an iconic punk rock band that was formed in San Francisco during the late 1970s. As they gained popularity in the underground scene during the early 1980s, they began to evolve their hardcore, punk sound that fused old school British punk with the hard-hitting punk music that was making a rise in America. Their hits include, "I Fought the Law" and "Kill the Poor." With five, full-length studio albums, their current membership includes two of the original members, East Bay Ray and Klaus Flouride, as well as D.H. Pelgirio and Ron "Skip" Greer.
The Dead Kennedys continue to tour internationally in such locales as the United States, the UK, Canada and several European countries.
