Circa Survive is an experimental post-hardcore band
formed in 2004. Lead vocalist for the band, Anthony Green, is
the former vocalist for Saosin. Compared to the sound of Saosin, the music of
Circa Survive taps a different musical influence for
Green, resulting in a sound and songwriting that is
comparatively less aggressive.
Circa Survive has released two versions of the song
"Handshakes at Sunrise" on two different 2004 sampler discs
from Equal Vision Records, as well as a 2005 limited edition
tour EP called The Inuit Sessions. They released a full length album, Juturna, on April 19th, 2005.
