Fusing elements of indie rock, folk, electronica and many other incarnations of experimental music, The Brian Jamestown Massacre, began its musical evolution in San Francisco, California during the early 1990s. They have produced no less than seventeen EPs and albums since that time. Their hit single, "Going to Hell," has appeared in the films American Pie and Dead Man's Curve, as well as a television episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Their 2010 album release titled Who Killed Sgt. Pepper? demonstrates the continued influence of the psychedelic 60's on their music as well as their evolution in the genre of electronica. They continue to tour internationally with venues throughout Europe, the US, Australia and New Zealand.
