Bowling for Soup gained much notoriety when "Girl All The Bad Guys Want", off the album Drunk Enough to Dance, was nominated for the Grammy for Best Pop Performance by a Group or Duo. Though the band did not take home the award, the nomination served as a launching point for the success of 2004's A Hangover You Don't Deserve. Sales of that album were driven in large part by the radio airplay of the single "1985", a song written by the band SR-71. The version recorded by SR-71 features Jaret on backing vocals, and the version recorded by Bowling For Soup features Mitch Allan, lead singer of SR-71. Bowling for Soup Goes to the Movies, a compilation album of cover songs and contributions to movie soundtracks, came out in 2005.
