Voted "Best Rock Bass Player" no less than five times by Guitar Player magazine, it is no surprise that the music career of Billy Sheehan has resulted in a vast array of musical pinnacles. In the 80s, he developed a cult following as he played in his band Talas. He was then recruited to play with David Lee Roth after Roth launched his solo career. Then, he formed the band Mr. Big, which produced the Billboard No. 1 single "Lean Into It." In all, Sheehan's unique bass style can be heard on more than twenty-nine albums including his solo and collaborative works.
Billy Sheehan continues to perform both as a solo act and with his bands, Mr. Big and Niacin. He has performed thousands of live gigs on every world continent except Africa and Antarctica.
