Archers of Loaf was formed in Chapel Hill, North Carolina in 1990, becoming an extensive touring band with four studio albums, numerous singles, EPS and one live album. They broke up in '98. Their initial single was "Wrong" in 92, after which they signed with Alias Records.
The '94 debut album, "Icky Mettle" was a success. They released the EP, "The Greatest of All Time," but the title song appeared later in "Vee Vee." The third album, "All the Nation's Airports" was distributed by Elektra Records. The band reunited to play Seattle's "Sasquatch Festival," and they've been heard on NPR.
